Term 1, 2016 . . .

We are well underway for Term 1, 2016. Lots of new friends are coming to Artsoup mosaics every Saturday afternoon.

We are getting quite a few new people coming from further away and finding out about us on Meetup.

Painting 'Serenity Stones' alongside 'Mosaics' has been very well received and we are absolutely blown away with people taking their creativity to the next level.

Working with the elderly has been very rewarding too. Lots of painting, which they find very calming and soothing.

One elderly gentleman has reignited his creative passions and has felt inspired to do his own paintings.

The children's afternoon group has been doing AMAZING stuff. Although all children are following their own individualised programme, we have enjoyed exploring colour and paint and applying it to different surfaces and in different ways. This is about the process of free self-expression and creativity as opposed to the final product.

There have been lots of exciting moments, including nature pictures, painting stones, painting our hands and printing.

We are also working alongside an autistic child who is really coming into her own creatively now.

We feel very privileged to be a part of her journey, WOW!
